Reading Blues Fest headliners Eric Gales, Dirty Dozen Brass Band nominated for Grammy Awards
The nominations for the 65th annual Grammy Awards were announced Tuesday.
Two headliners for this weekend’s Reading Blues Fest – Eric Gales and The Dirty Dozen Brass Band – received coveted nominations.
Eric Gales
The iconic guitarist was nominated in the Best Contemporary Blues Album category for his latest CD “Crown.”
Gale’s performance during the Reading Blues Fest is Saturday, 8:00 p.m., at the DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Ballroom. Concert is part of a co-bill with Dawn Tyler Watson.
The Dirty Dozen Brass Band
The legendary New Orleans was nominated in the Best American Roots Performance category for its collaboration with Aaron Neville on the song Stompin’ Ground.
The Dirty Dozen Brass Band performance during Reading Blues Fest is Friday, 8:00 p.m., at the DoubleTree by Hilton Reading Grand Ballroom. Concert is part of the co-bill with Tab Benoit.
Grammy Awards ceremony will be held in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 5, 2023.
Show will be broadcast on CBS network and streamed live on Paramount+.
